Getting Started — Frequently Asked
What to expect when you reach out.
- How do I get in touch with Crane Advisory Group?
- Reach Crane Advisory Group by email at advice@craneadvisorygroup.ca or by phone at +1-780-222-0344. Enquiries go directly to Bryan Whitty, Founder & Principal Consultant. Include the crane capacity, service class if known, location and the decision you are facing, and the first response will be substantive rather than a sales call.
- What information should I have ready for a first conversation?
- Useful detail includes crane capacity and span, approximate age, duty cycle and shift pattern, the industry and environment, any recent inspection findings or quotes you have received, and the decision or deadline driving the enquiry. None of it is mandatory — many owners start with only a quote and a question about whether it is reasonable.
- Does Crane Advisory Group travel to site?
- Yes. Site attendance is available across Canada and the United States for inspections program reviews, modernization assessments, commissioning support and owner's representative work. Many engagements — bid reviews, specification reviews and second opinions — can be completed remotely from documentation.
- What happens after I make contact?
- The first step is a direct conversation to understand the crane, the decision and the timeline. From there you receive a defined scope and fee for the specific review requested. There is no obligation attached to the initial conversation and no equipment is being sold at any point in the process.
